Who you are

You have a strong background in systems engineering, particularly in reliability engineering and mechatronics. Your experience includes analyzing large-scale data from various sources such as PLCs and sensors to identify improvement opportunities. You are skilled in root cause analysis and have a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives in complex systems.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with internal customers and partners. Your ability to document business requirements and translate them into actionable plans is a key strength. You thrive in cross-functional teams and are adept at leading engineering and product support efforts.

Your technical expertise includes a deep understanding of system lifecycle management and the ability to build scalable solutions that ensure optimal performance. You are comfortable with data analytics and have experience in developing preventative maintenance strategies that enhance reliability metrics and overall equipment effectiveness.

You are willing to travel up to 50% of the time and are open to relocating within a reasonable commuting distance of the office. Your proactive approach to problem-solving and your commitment to excellence make you a valuable asset to any team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for internal customers and partners, driving the implementation of world-class maintenance and support solutions for Amazon's Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging systems. You will lead cross-functional engineering teams engaged in continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing processes around maintenance and reliability.

You will analyze large-scale data from PLCs, sensors, and maintenance records to identify opportunities for system optimizations and preventative maintenance. Your insights will help drive corrective actions and improve overall equipment effectiveness across Amazon’s global fulfillment center network.

You will engage with customers to understand their needs and document business requirements, ensuring that solutions are tailored to meet operational demands. Your role will involve managing implementation programs for corrective actions and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful outcomes.

You will apply your expertise in robotics and mechatronics to build scalable solutions that enhance the performance and availability of thousands of workcells. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of Amazon's fulfillment operations.

What we offer

Amazon offers a competitive salary range of $129,200.00 - $174,800.00 annually, along with relocation assistance if needed.
