Amazon is hiring a System Integration Engineer for the SPIV team to define and integrate solutions for next-generation cloud platforms. You'll work with AWS technologies and require experience in system interfaces and debugging complex systems.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in systems engineering, with experience in defining and integrating solutions for cloud platforms. Your expertise includes working with end-to-end system interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, and DDR, and you are comfortable driving complex system debugs that involve hardware, firmware, and software components. You are intellectually curious and constantly seek improvements in performance, quality, cost, and reliability of products and services. You have a collaborative mindset and are capable of providing leadership to raise quality standards within your team.
Desirable
Experience with AWS services and a solid understanding of cloud computing principles will be beneficial. Familiarity with advanced technologies used in data centers, such as Nitro and Graviton, is a plus. You are proactive in your approach and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you can make a significant impact.
What you'll do
As a System Integration Engineer, you will take ownership of the design strategies for system interfaces and ensure optimal implementation throughout the product lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive the development and management of various AWS services, including Compute, Database, and Storage. Your role will involve debugging complex systems and providing leadership to enhance quality standards. You will also engage with AWS customers to understand their specialized security needs and ensure that the solutions you develop meet those requirements. Your contributions will play a crucial role in shaping the future of AWS cloud platforms.
