Amazon is seeking a Team Lead for their Supply Chain/Transportation Management team in Hyderabad. You'll be responsible for shift operations, team management, and performance reporting. This role requires strong leadership and operational skills.

Who you are
You have a proven track record in team leadership, particularly in supply chain or transportation management, and possess the ability to drive operational excellence. Your experience includes training and coaching team members on processes and standard operating procedures, ensuring that associates are well-equipped to meet their targets. You excel in building relationships and managing performance through effective communication and mentoring, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances team productivity.
You are data-driven, capable of maintaining and publishing routine reports on performance metrics, and you use this data to make informed recommendations for operational improvements. Your ability to handle day-to-day operational escalations demonstrates your problem-solving skills and your commitment to delivering a great customer experience. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are adept at managing multiple priorities while ensuring that operational goals are met.
Desirable
Experience in a logistics or delivery center environment is a plus, as is familiarity with Amazon's operational processes. You understand the importance of network health and are proactive in identifying areas for improvement. Your leadership style is inclusive, and you are passionate about developing your team members' skills and careers.
What you'll do
In this role, you will oversee shift operations at Amazon's Delivery Center, supporting the DC manager in executing the operational plan. You will be responsible for training associates on Amazon's processes and products, ensuring they are well-prepared to deliver exceptional service. Your role will involve working closely with various teams to enable network efficiency and support new product launches, ensuring that operational aspects align with business objectives.
You will maintain and publish routine reporting on performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Your leadership will be crucial in building and managing a multi-layer team, driving performance through on-the-job coaching and mentoring. You will set clear expectations for your team, communicate status updates effectively, and manage relationships with associates to foster a positive work environment.
Handling day-to-day operational escalations will be part of your responsibilities, requiring you to think on your feet and resolve issues promptly. You will work collaboratively with process associates and the station team to enhance operational efficiency and improve the delivery experience for customers. Your focus will be on achieving targets while maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence.
