Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly in technical roles, where you've successfully driven product vision and strategy. Your background includes working with cloud-based solutions, and you understand the intricacies of production and post-production workflows in the entertainment industry. You are comfortable navigating high ambiguity and can operate independently with limited guidance, making you adept at defining product strategy and feature design.

You possess strong relationship management skills, having collaborated with various stakeholders, including creative professionals and production companies. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams has been key to your success. You are familiar with industry-standard tools and workflows, and you have experience integrating these tools into cloud environments.

Desirable

Experience with major creative tool providers such as Avid, Adobe, and Blackmagic is a plus. Familiarity with production and post-production processes will help you excel in this role. You are data-driven and can leverage metrics to inform product decisions, ensuring that the solutions you develop meet the needs of users in a fast-evolving industry.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the product lifecycle for workflows that enable global collaboration among creative professionals and post-production vendors. You will lead the transformation of traditional on-premises infrastructure to AWS cloud-based solutions, enhancing production timelines and maintaining creative quality. Your responsibilities will include defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Studio in the Cloud initiative, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.

You will work closely with leading creative tool providers to integrate their solutions into the AWS environment, facilitating seamless collaboration for production companies. Your role will involve managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring that the product features you develop are user-friendly and effective. You will also be responsible for conducting user research and gathering feedback to continuously improve the product.

Collaboration is key in this position, as you will partner with various teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to ensure successful product launches. You will also be involved in defining metrics for success and analyzing data to inform future product iterations. Your ability to manage complex dynamics and relationships will be essential as you navigate the challenges of the entertainment industry.

What we offer

You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where innovation is encouraged, and your contributions will directly impact the future of content creation. We value diversity and encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement.
