You are detail-oriented and proactive in identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies. Your experience in managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with quality requirements will be invaluable in this position.

Desirable

Experience in satellite technology or telecommunications would be a plus. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies will help you excel in this role. A background in engineering or a related field can enhance your understanding of the technical aspects of the projects you will manage.

What you'll do

As a Technical Program Manager at Amazon, you will be the overall program owner for mechanical components development related to Project Kuiper. You will act as the focal point for all Asia side Mechanical Component Development, ensuring that all activities are aligned with project goals. Your role will involve driving risk mitigations with Asia-based teams and communicating effectively with a cross-functional audience. You will maintain close communication with the US-based core team members to ensure issue resolution and adherence to schedules. Collaborating with Mechanical Process Engineering teams, Tooling Engineering teams, and suppliers will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you work to keep tooling and material schedules on track. You will also be responsible for monitoring and driving activities related to DFM, tooling release, process qualification, and material preparation for builds. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring that the project meets its objectives and delivers results for customers.
