Job Description
Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience in Color Material Finish (CMF) related roles, particularly in consumer products. Your proficiency in using tools like spectrophotometers and gloss meters allows you to analyze and troubleshoot material properties effectively. You possess a keen eye for detail, especially when it comes to color matching and material adjustments to achieve optimal RF performance. Your ability to document processes and create guidelines ensures that quality standards are met consistently across all programs.
You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and suppliers, to ensure that CMF considerations are integrated into product development from the outset. Your experience includes sample checking, tracking, and creating comprehensive documentation that supports product quality and production readiness. You are also adept at investigating new materials and methods, contributing to innovation within the product family.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for providing Color Material Finish support throughout the product development lifecycle. You will conduct sample checks for builds and track samples to ensure they meet quality specifications. Your expertise will be crucial in color matching and making necessary material adjustments to achieve desired RF performance. You will create and maintain CMF documentation across all programs, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned on quality expectations.
Additionally, you will develop LED lighting behavior documentation and cosmetic inspection guidelines to enhance product aesthetics and functionality. Your role will involve investigating new materials and methods, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in product design. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure that CMF feasibility is considered in all stages of product development, from initial design to mass production.
