You are comfortable presenting your work to executive leadership and advocating for user needs within the organization. You have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of design principles, which allows you to create visually appealing and functional designs.

What you'll do

As a Community UX Designer at Twitch, you will lead design efforts that enhance the experiences of streamers and their communities across our product ecosystem. You will work closely with senior cross-functional partners to define project goals and deliverables, ensuring that user needs are at the forefront of your design decisions. Your role will involve hands-on research, where you will gather insights from users to inform your design choices and iterate on existing features.

You will be responsible for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate your ideas. Collaborating with engineers, you will ensure that your designs are feasible and align with technical constraints. You will also mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support as they develop their skills and contribute to the team. Your ability to balance creativity with practicality will be essential as you navigate the complexities of designing for a diverse user base.
