You are an experienced Vendor Manager with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for improving customer experiences. You have a proven track record of working with strategic vendor partners, developing and managing their business effectively. Your enthusiasm and hard-working nature make you a valuable addition to any team. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to act as a liaison between vendors and internal teams. You are creative in your approach to problem-solving and are always looking for ways to enhance value and convenience for customers.
You have experience in merchandising, marketing, and supply chain optimization, which enables you to drive growth for vendors through various levers. Your ability to negotiate costs and promotional opportunities autonomously sets you apart as a proactive leader in vendor management. You understand the importance of forecasting and monitoring business performance, and you are skilled at conducting pricing and ROI analysis to make informed recommendations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will act as the business owner for your subcategories and vendors, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the internal and external factors that impact their business. You will be responsible for driving strategic supply chain projects and promotions to achieve business objectives. Your role will involve negotiating costs and promotional opportunities with vendors, ensuring that you maximize value for both the vendor and Amazon. You will conduct thorough pricing and ROI analyses, making data-driven recommendations for initiatives that enhance vendor performance.
You will collaborate closely with multiple internal teams to ensure that vendor success aligns with Amazon's broader business goals. Your strategic and tactical approach will help you navigate the complexities of vendor management, allowing you to effectively grow the business portfolio. You will also be involved in executing joint business plans that improve selection and convenience for customers, making a significant impact on their shopping experience.
