Overview

Ameba is hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and launch innovative products in the supply chain industry. You'll work with technologies like React, TypeScript, Kotlin, and Python. This role requires a collaborative mindset and a passion for building user-centric solutions.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a Full-Stack Software Engineer with a passion for building innovative solutions in a traditional industry. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to work closely with the CTO and engineering team to bring products from conception to launch. Your experience spans both front-end and back-end technologies, and you are comfortable navigating the entire stack. You have a strong foundation in React and TypeScript for front-end development, and you are proficient in Kotlin and Python for back-end services. You are also interested in machine learning and have a familiarity with building LLM-based agents. You understand the importance of infrastructure and have experience with AWS and Docker, which allows you to design scalable and efficient system architectures.

You are adaptable and can navigate rapidly changing priorities in a growing startup environment. You are excited about the opportunity to work in supply chains and understand the impact of your work on the unseen machinery of the world. You are open to learning and growing, and you welcome the chance to contribute to a startup that has ambitious goals and a strong backing from experienced entrepreneurs.

What you'll do

As a Full-Stack Engineer at Ameba, you will collaborate closely with the CTO and the engineering team to design, build, and launch products that enhance the supply chain experience. You will work across the entire stack, from front-end development using React and TypeScript to back-end services built with Kotlin and Python. Your role will involve implementing machine learning features, such as agentic workflows and entity matching, to improve product functionality. You will also be responsible for managing infrastructure using AWS and Docker, ensuring that the systems you build are scalable and efficient.

You will engage in tight feedback loops, often launching features within a week, which requires you to be comfortable with rapid iterations and user feedback. Your contributions will directly impact user satisfaction, and you will have the opportunity to shape the product based on real-world usage. You will also have the chance to explore contract-first development practices using OpenAPI and gRPC/Protocol Buffers, enhancing your skills in designing robust APIs.

What we offer

At Ameba, we pride ourselves on providing a supportive and rewarding work environment. You will be part of a team of experienced entrepreneurs and builders who are passionate about transforming the supply chain industry. We offer competitive compensation and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that has a meaningful impact on the world. You will have the chance to grow your skills in a dynamic startup environment and contribute to projects that matter. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and a willingness to learn.
