What you'll do

As the Lead SRE, you will work closely with the founding team to take ownership of critical components of the infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include designing and maintaining distributed databases at scale, specifically using ScyllaDB, and implementing high-throughput monitoring systems capable of handling over 1 million series per second. You will lead a small team of SRE engineers, guiding them in executing the long-term infrastructure roadmap while ensuring the systems remain secure and efficient.

You will also focus on automating processes from monitoring dashboards to database installations, aiming to eradicate manual steps in workflows. Your role will involve collaborating with the backend team to ensure smooth code deployments and system reliability as traffic increases. You will cultivate a culture of ownership and technical excellence within your team, balancing speed and stability in all operations.
