What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for automating the manual workflows of accountants, which is crucial for scaling AngelList's operations. You will design and implement backend services that track money movements and investors' legal rights, ensuring that our financial infrastructure is robust and efficient.

You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your work will involve data modeling and creating Rails APIs that serve the React frontend, allowing for a smooth flow of information and a great user experience.

You will have the autonomy to make decisions about the architecture of the systems you build, and you will be expected to lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers. Your contributions will directly impact how startups are funded and built, making your role vital to the company's mission.
