What you'll do

As an Applied AI Engineer at Anthropic, you will focus on maximizing the impact of Claude in the life sciences. This involves collaborating with flagship research partners to embed AI tools into their scientific workflows, ensuring that AI systems are not only effective but also beneficial for the communities they serve. You will be responsible for prototyping agents that fit into real research pipelines and developing ecosystem-level tooling that extends Claude's usefulness in various applications.

Your role will require you to engage deeply with research partners, understanding their needs and challenges, and translating those into actionable AI solutions. You will work on building the technical infrastructure necessary to support these deployments, including developing benchmarks and reusable agent skills. Your contributions will help accelerate scientific progress from research and development through to translation, making Claude a go-to tool in the life sciences ecosystem.
