Your strategic thinking allows you to identify opportunities within the ML/Data lifecycle, ensuring that both open source and commercial aspects of the product thrive. You are adept at engaging with customers and open source users, drawing insights that inform product development and market positioning.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate product strategies clearly to stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Your experience in driving product roadmaps equips you to manage the complexities of feature development while maintaining a focus on user experience and community engagement. You thrive in competitive landscapes and are motivated by the challenge of making Ray Data the standard for AI data processing.
What you'll do
As the Staff Product Manager for Ray Data, you will own the product roadmap, balancing the development of open source features with the commercial differentiation of RayTurbo Data. Your role involves driving adoption of Ray Data within the open source community, focusing on enhancing developer experience and fostering ecosystem integrations. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure that product features align with user needs and market demands.
You will collaborate with Product Marketing to develop strategic market positioning and enablement strategies, ensuring that both Ray Data and RayTurbo Data are effectively communicated to potential users. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research to identify gaps in the product and opportunities for improvement, as well as defining success metrics to measure the impact of your initiatives. You will engage with enterprise customers to gather feedback and insights that will inform future product iterations.
