Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong ability to connect user needs and business context to long-term product direction — you frequently engage with users to understand their needs while also knowing when to infer beyond what’s said. You thrive on ambiguity and embrace ownership, adding massive leverage to both engineering and leadership teams. Your user-centric judgment allows you to balance metrics with vision, running rigorous experiments while also pushing forward visionary bets. You are comfortable making product decisions that tie directly to strategy, business outcomes, and user needs.
What you'll do
As a Product Manager on the Applied AI team at Mercor, you’ll own one of the most critical scopes in the company. You’ll operate with extreme independence, solving problems that have no playbook and driving initiatives that shape how the world’s leading AI labs source talent and train frontier models. You’ll collaborate directly with engineering and leadership, making product decisions that tie directly to strategy, business outcomes, and user needs. Your role will involve balancing visionary bets with hard metrics, moving seamlessly between strategic direction-setting and hands-on execution.
What we offer
Mercor is creating a new category of work where expertise powers AI advancement. You’ll work alongside researchers, operators, and AI companies at the forefront of shaping the systems that are redefining society. We work in-person five days a week in our new San Francisco headquarters, fostering a collaborative and ambitious environment. Join us in our mission to provide the human intelligence essential to AI development.
