Job Description
Who you are
You have a high school diploma or GED and some documented application of technical skills outside of the classroom, such as through extracurricular projects or internships. You may also have an Associate's Degree, Trade School certification, or equivalent experience in a professional technical role that includes prototyping and development. Your familiarity with basic electronics lab equipment, such as DMMs and oscilloscopes, sets you apart as a candidate. You understand how different engineering disciplines interact, including hardware, mechanical, firmware, and software, which enhances your ability to collaborate effectively.
You possess certifications such as IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001, particularly in space and military applications. Your experience with automated test systems and qualification testing for aerospace products demonstrates your capability in handling complex technical tasks. Additionally, your US Person status allows you to support export-controlled data, making you a valuable asset to the team.
What you'll do
As a Soldering Technician at AnySignal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our production line. Your primary responsibilities will include inspecting, soldering, assembling, and reworking PCBAs and other electronic components according to industry standards such as IPC 7711, IPC 610, IPC 620, and J-STD-001. You will also support the testing of electronic and electromechanical systems, providing feedback on technical procedures and drawings to ensure quality and conformance to documented standards.
You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to ensure that our products are built to design specifications and adhere to our quality standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will be essential in delivering world-class space-grade radio hardware to our customers.
