You have 5+ years of experience in data science, particularly in pricing strategies and machine learning. Your expertise lies in building and deploying models that drive business decisions, and you are comfortable working with large datasets to extract meaningful insights. You possess strong programming skills in Python and are proficient in SQL for data manipulation and analysis. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and improve processes. You have a passion for experimentation and are skilled at running adaptive experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize outcomes. You understand the importance of storytelling with data and can communicate your findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus, as is familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. A background in economics or a related field would be beneficial, as it complements your data science skills in pricing strategies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building and evolving AnyVan's machine learning pricing engines. You will design, evaluate, and productionize smarter pricing models that help the company make better decisions and enhance the marketplace experience. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to implement systems that dynamically learn from data and adapt pricing strategies accordingly. Your work will involve running experiments to test pricing hypotheses and iterating on models based on performance metrics. You will also be expected to communicate your findings and insights to the team, helping to shape the overall pricing strategy of the company. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of logistics operations and customer satisfaction.
