You have a strong background in corporate development, particularly in the energy sector, with experience in sourcing and executing investment opportunities. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to build financial models and investment memos that guide multi-million dollar decisions. You thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where you can balance rigorous analysis with the autonomy to make impactful decisions. You are comfortable representing your organization externally, attending industry conferences, and developing proprietary deal flow. Your prior experience in energy, infrastructure, or services-enabled financing will be invaluable as you help launch and scale AppDirect's Energy investment program.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end origination, evaluation, and execution of investment and acquisition opportunities for AppDirect Capital, focusing primarily on the energy sector. You will source and proactively develop proprietary deal flow that aligns with AppDirect Capital’s strategic goals. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough deal diligence and execution, collaborating with finance, legal, and people teams to bring transactions to a successful close. You will also translate complex opportunities into clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership and boards, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the process.
