Overview

Snowflake is hiring a Senior Manager/Director of Corporate Development to define and execute the inorganic growth strategy through key M&A and strategic investment initiatives. You'll work closely with senior leadership to identify and evaluate complex strategic opportunities. Who you are

You have a proven track record leading end-to-end M&A transactions across various deal types — you've navigated complex negotiations and understand the nuances of strategic partnerships. Your deep market insight allows you to spot disruptive trends and ensure acquisitions align with a multi-year vision. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with senior leadership, including the CEO and C-suite, to drive strategic initiatives that accelerate growth.

With a sophisticated understanding of the rapidly evolving technology landscape, particularly within Data, Cloud infrastructure, and AI, you are more than just a dealmaker — you are a strategic partner who can influence the future shape of the Data Cloud. You are results-oriented and have a knack for analyzing market dynamics to refine M&A strategies that enable and accelerate growth.

What you'll do

In this role, you will jointly lead the refinement of the M&A strategy, analyzing market opportunities to identify potential acquisitions that align with Snowflake's growth objectives. You will serve as a trusted advisor on 'build, partner, or buy' decisions, ensuring that each transaction supports the company's product roadmap and global market penetration. Your responsibilities will include transaction execution, where you will manage the end-to-end process of M&A deals, from initial evaluation to closing.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the strategic fit of potential acquisitions and provide insights that guide decision-making at the highest levels of the organization. Your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly will be essential as you present findings and recommendations to senior leadership. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to facilitate successful partnerships.
