You have a proven track record in sales leadership, with experience managing teams and achieving ambitious targets. Your ability to mentor and coach team members is essential, as you will be responsible for their professional development and success in sales cycles. You understand the importance of defining territories, assigning quotas, and determining target accounts to drive business results. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with other members of the sales leadership team. Desirable
Experience in the software or technology sector is a plus, as is familiarity with digital transformation solutions. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but your experience and results will speak volumes about your capabilities.
What you'll do
As the Area Vice President, you will lead a team of up to four Regional Vice Presidents or Account Executives, guiding them to meet and exceed their sales targets. You will be accountable for the overall business results of your team, ensuring that they are aligned with Appian's strategic goals. Your role will involve mentoring and coaching your team members, helping them navigate their sales cycles and develop their skills.
You will participate in defining sales territories and assigning quotas, ensuring that your team is set up for success.
