Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, particularly in building scalable and high-performance systems. Your expertise includes designing and developing backend services that handle real-time requests, ensuring stability and low latency in high-concurrency environments.

You possess deep knowledge of database optimization techniques, particularly with MongoDB and ClickHouse, and understand how to enhance system observability and incident management. Your experience with deploying machine learning models in production environments adds significant value to your skill set.

You are familiar with A/B testing frameworks and have a strong grasp of optimizing resource utilization in complex systems. Your background in ad-tech or recommendation systems is a plus, allowing you to contribute effectively to the Ad Cloud ecosystem.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design and development of backend services that power Appier's advertising technology. You will drive the technical roadmap for sizable projects, ensuring the delivery of robust and efficient solutions. Your responsibilities will include optimizing critical system components for latency and throughput, as well as enhancing operational excellence through innovation and automation.

You will collaborate closely with SRE professionals to guarantee the reliability of services under extreme loads. Your role will also involve refactoring complex systems to improve performance metrics such as latency and CPU usage. You will be expected to implement comprehensive monitoring and incident management strategies to maintain high service availability.
