Who you are
You have a proven track record in investment management, particularly in early-stage startups, with a focus on innovative technologies such as agentic AI. Your entrepreneurial mindset drives you to identify and evaluate complex investment opportunities, and you possess excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin. You have an established network within the global startup and venture capital communities, which you leverage to unlock strategic growth opportunities for Appier.
You are comfortable working independently and as part of a lean, high-performing team, demonstrating a bias for action and execution. Your deep market insight and rigorous financial analysis skills enable you to present compelling investment recommendations to leadership and investment committees. You thrive in high-impact leadership roles and are passionate about driving strategic investments that align with business objectives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end investment process, from sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities to executing deals and managing the portfolio. You will conduct comprehensive due diligence, including market analysis, competitive landscape assessments, technology evaluations, and financial modeling. Your responsibilities will include presenting investment recommendations to Appier's leadership and investment committee, articulating the strategic fit and potential returns of each opportunity.
You will negotiate investment terms and structures to align with Appier's strategic goals, ensuring that each investment contributes to the company's growth and innovation objectives. Collaborating closely with C-level leadership, you will help shape the future of Appier's investment strategy and drive impactful results.
