Job Description
Who you are
You are a graduating student or pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, eager to learn about software testing and quality assurance. You have a foundational understanding of requirements and specifications, and you can follow test steps written in English. Your interest in technology and problem-solving drives you to explore real-world challenges in a tech environment.
You have some experience in web and mobile application testing, which gives you insight into the testing process. Familiarity with the HTTP Protocol and its functionalities, including RESTful APIs, cookies, and WebUI, is part of your skill set. You are comfortable using tools like Fiddler or Charles proxy server and have experience with Postman or SoapUI for HTTP testing. Good communication skills in English are essential for collaborating with your team.
Desirable
Experience with programming using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor would be a plus, showcasing your adaptability to new technologies and methodologies.
What you'll do
As a Quality Assurance Intern at Appier, you will be an integral part of our QA team, dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of software quality and reliability. Your responsibilities will include manual test execution, where you will report bugs via Jira and verify bug fixes. You will engage in exploratory testing with guided charters, particularly focusing on our Advertising Cloud and Personalization Cloud services.
You will test ads in both our app and website, recording screen videos and network traffic logs from the click of an ad to the opening of the destination product page. This hands-on experience will allow you to ensure integration between components or products and identify weak links in complex system architectures.
