Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience in IC design. You possess deep knowledge of ADC/DAC architectures and understand which are suitable for various applications. Your expertise extends to low noise design techniques and high-performance analog circuit design, including band-gaps, bias circuits, op-amps, and switched-cap circuits.
You are skilled in transistor-level feasibility studies and have a proven track record of taking chips to production. Your experience includes crafting blocks and documenting designs for formal reviews, as well as driving mask design to implement layout views of your designs. You are familiar with defining production and bench-level test plans and taking lab measurements to validate analog designs.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be involved in the specifications of the analog portions of integrated circuits. You will conduct behavioral modeling to validate architectures and perform transistor-level feasibility studies for various blocks in ADC/DAC. Your responsibilities will include crafting blocks and documenting designs towards formal design reviews, as well as driving mask design to implement layout views of your designs.
You will also conduct top-level simulations to validate top-level integration and define production and bench-level test plans. Taking lab measurements to validate analog designs will be a key part of your role, along with driving and reviewing yield and lab test results to address any bugs. You will ensure that designs comply with ESD standards, contributing to the overall quality and reliability of Appleβs products.
