Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline and at least 3 years of relevant experience in analog layout engineering. Your strong understanding of analog layout fundamentals, including electromigration, IR drop, parasitics, LDEs, and ESD, sets you apart. You are proficient in Unix and CAD environments, and you have experience interpreting and debugging Calibre results. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

You have experience mentoring junior layout engineers and driving consensus within your team. Your background includes working with both planar and FinFET nodes, and you possess scripting capabilities to improve efficiency in your workflow. You are self-motivated and thrive in a collaborative environment where creativity and innovation are encouraged.

What you'll do

As an Analog Layout Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for constructing layouts for a wide variety of designs across different technologies. You will work closely with circuit designers and other layout engineers to ensure that you deliver the highest quality layout achievable. Your role will involve independent delivery of layouts, starting from initial floor planning and concluding with fully verified, post-extracted layouts, including DRC, ERC, and LVS checks. You will conduct reviews for floor planning and final layout to achieve team goals and ensure that all designs meet the required specifications.

You will be part of a development team that values engineering excellence and innovation.
