Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, along with over 10 years of relevant industry experience. Your hands-on experience with power estimation tools like PtPx has equipped you with the skills necessary to excel in this role. You possess a deep understanding of power-critical use cases and scenarios, allowing you to define power targets effectively. Your collaborative spirit enables you to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams to achieve optimization goals.
You are adept at generating accurate pre-silicon power estimations that inform design decision-making. Your analytical skills allow you to analyze power consumption patterns and identify optimization opportunities. You have experience developing SoC power models for new architecture designs, enabling performance and power trade-off analysis. Your understanding of software and system-level interactions that impact overall power consumption is a key asset in this role.
What you'll do
In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for SoC power estimation and optimization for power-critical wireless products. You will work closely with architects to define power-critical use cases and scenarios, establishing power targets and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve optimization goals. You will define comprehensive test cases within design verification environments and generate accurate pre-silicon power estimations for design decision-making. Your role will involve analyzing power consumption patterns and identifying optimization opportunities, as well as developing SoC power models for new architecture designs.
You will partner with lab and silicon characterization teams to correlate models with measured silicon data, ensuring that your power models are accurate and reliable. Your contributions will directly impact the development of highly power-efficient SoCs that enable breakthrough wireless experiences. You will be part of a talented team of engineers, integrating innovative power solutions and delivering industry-leading power efficiency.
