Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, along with 3+ years of relevant industry experience. Your hands-on experience with PtPx and PPRTL showcases your technical expertise in power estimation and optimization for SoCs. You are passionate about developing highly power-efficient SoCs that enable breakthrough wireless experiences, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with architects and cross-functional teams.

Your deep understanding of power-critical use cases and scenarios allows you to establish power targets effectively. You have a knack for analyzing power consumption patterns and identifying optimization opportunities, which is crucial for driving future SoC power optimization strategies. You are adept at generating accurate pre-silicon power estimations that inform design decision-making, and you understand the software and system-level interactions that impact overall power consumption.

What you'll do

In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for SoC power estimation and optimization for power-critical wireless products. You will work with a talented team of engineers to integrate innovative power solutions and deliver industry-leading power efficiency. Your responsibilities will include defining comprehensive test cases within design verification environments and partnering with lab and silicon characterization teams to correlate models with measured silicon data. You will also drive the development of SoC power models for new architecture designs, enabling performance/power trade-off analysis.

You will collaborate with architects to define power-critical use cases and scenarios, establishing power targets and working with cross-functional teams to achieve optimization goals. Your role will require you to analyze power consumption patterns and identify optimization opportunities, ensuring that the SoCs you work on meet the highest standards of power efficiency. You will be at the forefront of developing strategies that will shape the future of wireless SOC products.
