Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, along with 3+ years of relevant industry experience. Your hands-on experience with PtPx and PPRTL showcases your deep technical expertise in power estimation. You are passionate about developing highly power-efficient SoCs that enable breakthrough wireless experiences, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work with talented engineers.
You possess a strong understanding of software and system-level interactions that impact overall power consumption. Your analytical skills allow you to analyze power consumption patterns and identify optimization opportunities effectively. You are adept at defining comprehensive test cases within design verification environments, ensuring that your work meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
What you'll do
In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for SoC power estimation and driving future SoC power optimization strategies. You will work closely with architects to define power-critical use cases and scenarios, establishing power targets and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve optimization goals. Your role will involve generating accurate pre-silicon power estimations that inform design decision-making.
You will develop SoC power models for new architecture designs, enabling performance and power trade-off analysis. Partnering with lab and silicon characterization teams, you will correlate models with measured silicon data to ensure accuracy and reliability. Your contributions will directly impact the development of industry-leading power efficiency in wireless products, making your work crucial to the success of Apple's next-generation technologies.
