What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Apple Sports team, you will design, develop, and maintain highly available, real-time data services that ingest, process, and distribute sports data at massive scale. Your work will focus on building and optimizing high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems, ensuring exceptional performance, reliability, and scalability. You will collaborate with world-class engineers to deliver impactful features and execute on our technical roadmap. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. You will be responsible for ensuring that the backend infrastructure can support the growing demands of the Apple Sports app and Apple TV, contributing to a seamless user experience for millions of fans worldwide.
