Who you are
You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in infrastructure planning, data center operations, and cloud management β you've successfully driven expansion strategies and understand the complexities involved in managing cloud resources and data centers. Your strong verbal and written communication skills allow you to distill complex ideas into concise, impactful messages, making you effective in presenting to senior leadership, including VP-level executives.
You thrive in environments where ambiguity is common and can quickly adapt to new requirements and data in a highly dynamic setting. Your deep understanding of operational complexities, including power, hardware, fiber, and thermal management, equips you to handle the independent requirements for R&D in data center builds. You possess a comprehensive knowledge of various cloud architectures, such as micro-services versus monolithic structures, and their associated operational models.
What you'll do
In this role, you will join the Cloud Infrastructure Business Operations team at Apple, where you will be instrumental in transforming how the company plans and delivers its cloud resources and data centers. You will partner closely with engineering, finance, and supply chain teams to align demand forecasts with procurement and deployment strategies, ensuring that Appleβs infrastructure can meet the growing needs of its global customer base.
Your responsibilities will include analyzing data to inform strategic decisions regarding infrastructure expansion, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation, and presenting your findings and recommendations to senior leadership. You will also be responsible for managing projects that involve complex operational requirements, ensuring that all aspects of infrastructure planning are executed efficiently and effectively.
