Who you are
You have a strong background in cloud infrastructure management, with at least 5 years of experience in capacity planning and demand forecasting for large-scale environments. Your expertise in machine learning and data analysis allows you to effectively optimize compute resources to meet the needs of internal developers.
You are a strategic thinker who can develop long-range capacity models and drive infrastructure optimization initiatives. Your leadership skills enable you to build and manage a team of capacity planners, ensuring that Apple's ML and Gen AI infrastructure is prepared for current and future demands.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Your ability to analyze data and make informed decisions is crucial in this role, as you will be responsible for ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Desirable
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure is highly desirable, as is familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration. Knowledge of Python for scripting and automation will also be beneficial in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the capacity planning efforts for Apple's ML Training and Gen AI platforms, ensuring that the infrastructure meets the demands of internal developers. You will develop and implement long-range capacity models that align with the company's strategic goals.
