What you'll do
In this role, you will provide comprehensive support for Cadence custom flows, including tool development, installation, and maintenance. You will collaborate with the design team to create utilities and scripts that enhance the functionality of the tools used in the design process. Your responsibilities will also include supporting Virtuoso Layout and schematic software, ensuring that release flows are managed effectively based on the revision control system.
You will drive design methodology improvements to increase productivity and work closely with the CAD team to deliver general CAD services support. Your involvement in test development, automation, and regression flow support will be crucial in maintaining the quality and efficiency of the design processes. You will create and maintain relevant documentation to ensure that all team members have access to the necessary resources and information.
