You have a strong background in CAD engineering, particularly with Cadence tools, and you understand the intricacies of digital, analog, and mixed-signal designs. Your attention to detail allows you to create elegant solutions to complex challenges, ensuring high-performance and power-efficient designs. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with design and layout teams to drive productivity and efficiency in design methodologies.

You possess experience in providing user support for layout and schematic designers, and you are adept at tool customizations and development testing. Your familiarity with Unix and Linux systems enables you to support various CAD applications effectively. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance the overall design process.

What you'll do

In this role, you will provide comprehensive support for Cadence custom flows, including tool development, installation, and maintenance. You will collaborate with design teams to develop utilities and scripts that streamline workflows and improve efficiency. Your responsibilities will also include supporting Virtuoso Layout and schematic software, ensuring that release flows are managed effectively based on a revision control system.

You will drive design methodology improvements to increase productivity and work closely with the CAD team to deliver general CAD services support. Additionally, you will be involved in test development, automation, and regression flow support, contributing to the overall success of the engineering team.
