Who you are
You are an expert Cryptography Engineer with a strong software background, passionate about creating effective and pragmatic cryptographic implementations. You have deep knowledge of fundamental cryptographic algorithms and the underlying software, enabling you to design and implement security countermeasures against side-channel and physical attacks. Your experience allows you to analyze, propose, and validate innovative cryptographic solutions for a wide range of applications, ensuring the protection of user data and valuable assets across Apple's products.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with teams from Silicon Engineering to Cloud services. Your ability to implement and review innovative algorithms and protocols on various architectures and embedded systems sets you apart. You are committed to improving performance and formally proving the correctness of cryptographic software, ensuring that security measures are robust and reliable.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be embedded within Apple's Security Engineering & Architecture (SEAR) organization, contributing to the mission of delivering world-class cryptographic implementations. You will have the opportunity to work on analyzing and proposing innovative cryptographic solutions that impact millions of customers. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing side-channel attack countermeasures, collaborating with other teams on multi-functional technologies, and driving the adoption of these technologies across the organization.
You will also engage in the implementation and review of cryptographic algorithms and protocols, ensuring they meet the highest standards of security and performance. Your work will directly contribute to the cryptographic foundations that protect user data across all Apple products, including Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. You will be part of a team that values innovation and collaboration, making a real impact on Apple's features and products.
