Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Math, or related fields. You possess hands-on experience using cloud data analytics platforms such as Snowflake, Trino, or BigQuery, and you are adept at building data transformation pipelines using frameworks like dbt or Apache Spark. Your expertise extends to data modeling and data governance techniques, including Row Access Policies and role-based access control (RBAC).
You thrive in collaborative environments, effectively bridging the gap between business needs, analytical solutions, and engineering requirements. Your proactive approach to collaboration with other data engineering teams is essential for scaling solutions across the organization. You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of data integrity and quality.
Desirable
Experience with pipeline orchestration frameworks such as Airflow is preferred, as it enhances your ability to manage complex data workflows efficiently. Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their application in data engineering will also be beneficial in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will work closely with data scientists, hardware engineers, hardware test, and manufacturing operations teams to build scalable data pipelines and solutions that support Apple's camera hardware initiatives. You will be responsible for designing and implementing data architectures that facilitate efficient data processing and reporting. Your work will enable the team to handle growing data volumes from camera simulations, performance calibrations, and measurement results.
