Job Description

Who you are

You have a BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience, particularly in validating electro-optical, electro-mechanical, or mixed signal systems. Your experience includes designing experiments or similar processes to troubleshoot or debug electrical problems, showcasing your analytical skills and attention to detail. You are proficient in scripting with Python and/or MATLAB, which allows you to automate tasks and analyze data effectively. Additionally, you have hands-on experience measuring electrical components using lab instruments, demonstrating your practical skills in a technical environment.

Desirable

An MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field would be a plus, as would experience with camera hardware chipsets. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy tackling complex challenges that require creative solutions. Your understanding of how complex system architectures translate to electrical and IC requirements positions you well to contribute to innovative camera technologies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of the Camera Hardware Engineering group, responsible for the design, development, and innovation of camera hardware for Apple products. You will work closely with mechanical, optical, firmware, product/test, and camera systems engineers to evaluate performance specifications and ensure that the camera hardware meets the highest standards. Your contributions will help deliver superior camera hardware that enables best-in-class user experiences across all Apple products. You will engage in cross-functional collaboration, leveraging your technical expertise to drive projects forward and solve complex problems.
