Ddr Design Engineer • Mid-Level

Who you are

You have a BS degree in a technical discipline and at least 3 years of relevant experience in DDR design. You are results-oriented and highly motivated, with a passion for tackling unsolved challenges in digital design. Your experience includes working closely with architecture, circuit designers, and verification engineers to ensure high-quality designs. You are familiar with writing detailed design specifications and test plans, and you understand the importance of performance, gate count, and power in digital designs. You have a strong background in RTL description and are skilled in using formal tools and static checkers to guarantee RTL quality. Your experience also includes supporting design verification to ensure bug-free first silicon, driving functional and code coverage, and achieving timing closure for your designs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for performing concept studies and providing direction on performance, gate count, and power for various digital designs. You will write detailed design specifications and test plans in collaboration with architecture, circuit designers, and verification engineers. Your responsibilities will include providing high-quality RTL descriptions, including assertions for the design. You will utilize formal tools and static checkers to ensure RTL quality and support design verification to guarantee bug-free first silicon. You will drive functional and code coverage as well as timing closure for your designs, and support silicon bring-up, performance, and power characterization. You will work closely with a dynamic team to craft upcoming products that will delight and inspire millions of Apple’s customers every day.
