Job Description
Who you are
You are an experienced design verification engineer with a strong background in pre-silicon verification methodologies. You thrive on challenges and have a mindset to break designs, ensuring that the products you work on are of the highest quality. You are detail-oriented and capable of developing comprehensive test plans and coverage strategies based on micro-architecture specifications. Your experience allows you to establish verification environments that are both scalable and portable, ensuring efficiency in the verification process.
You have a proven track record of working collaboratively within a team, contributing to the development of innovative products that delight users. You are comfortable with all phases of verification, from test-plan development to debug and sign-off for RTL freeze and tape-out. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams is key to your success in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the first silicon for part of the SoC/IP is bug-free. You will develop detailed test and coverage plans, execute verification plans, and manage the design bring-up process. Your responsibilities will include developing verification environments, including stimulus, checkers, assertions, and trackers, to ensure comprehensive coverage of all features under your care. You will also be involved in regression enabling features and debugging test failures, ensuring that the verification process is efficient and effective.
You will collaborate closely with other engineers to establish DV methodologies and contribute to the overall success of the team. Your work will directly impact the quality of Appleβs products, and you will have the opportunity to craft solutions that will be used by millions of customers. You will be encouraged to innovate and push the boundaries of what is possible in design verification, making a significant contribution to the development of cutting-edge technology at Apple.
