You are an experienced design verification engineer with a strong background in pre-silicon verification methodologies. You thrive on challenges and have a mindset to break designs, ensuring that the products you work on are of the highest quality. You are detail-oriented and capable of developing comprehensive test and coverage plans based on micro-architecture specifications. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be key in delivering exceptional products that delight millions of users.
You have a solid understanding of verification environments, including the development of stimulus, checkers, assertions, and trackers. Your experience allows you to implement verification plans efficiently, ensuring that all features under your care are thoroughly tested and validated. You are passionate about technology and eager to contribute to the innovative products that Apple is known for.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for all phases of pre-silicon verification, which includes establishing DV methodology and developing test plans. You will create a verification environment that is scalable and portable, enabling efficient testing of IP designs. Your responsibilities will also include writing tests, debugging issues, and ensuring coverage and sign-off for RTL freeze and tape-out. You will collaborate closely with design teams to ensure that the verification process aligns with the overall product development goals.
You will be encouraged to develop detailed verification plans for all features under your care, implementing these plans to facilitate design bring-up and regression testing. Your role will require you to engage in continuous improvement of verification processes, ensuring that the methodologies you develop are effective and adaptable to future projects. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality silicon that meets Apple's rigorous standards.
