Job Description
Who you are
You are an experienced design verification engineer with a strong background in pre-silicon verification methodologies. You thrive on solving complex challenges and have a mindset geared towards breaking designs to ensure robustness. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality are evident in your work, as you develop comprehensive test and coverage plans based on micro-architecture specifications.
You possess a deep understanding of verification environments, including the development of stimulus, checkers, assertions, and trackers. Your ability to debug and analyze test failures is complemented by your experience in regression enabling features and design bring-up processes. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the verification process aligns with overall project goals.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for all phases of pre-silicon verification, which includes establishing DV methodology and developing detailed test plans. You will create a scalable and portable verification environment that meets the needs of the IP designs you are working on. Your responsibilities will also include executing verification plans, conducting design bring-up, and ensuring that all features under your care are thoroughly tested and validated.
You will work closely with other engineers to ensure that the first silicon produced is fully functional and meets the high standards expected at Apple. Your role will involve continuous improvement of verification processes and methodologies, ensuring that they are efficient and effective. You will also be encouraged to innovate and propose new strategies that can enhance the verification workflow.
