Job Description
Who you are
You are an experienced design verification engineer with a strong background in pre-silicon verification methodologies. You thrive on solving complex challenges and have a mindset geared towards breaking designs to ensure robustness and reliability. Your experience includes developing detailed test and coverage plans based on micro-architecture, and you are familiar with the entire verification process from test-plan development to sign-off for RTL freeze and tape-out.
You possess a deep understanding of verification environments, including the development of stimulus, checkers, assertions, and trackers. Your ability to implement scalable and portable verification methodologies is a key strength, and you are comfortable working in a collaborative environment where you can share your insights and learn from others. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for delivering high-quality results that meet the expectations of millions of users.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for all phases of pre-silicon verification, ensuring that the first silicon produced is fully functional and meets design specifications. You will establish DV methodologies and develop comprehensive test plans that guide the verification process. Your work will involve creating a robust verification environment that includes all necessary components for effective testing.
You will engage in test-writing, debugging, and coverage analysis, ensuring that all features under your care are thoroughly verified. Your responsibilities will also include regression enabling and design bring-up, where you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the verification process is efficient and effective. You will have the opportunity to innovate and improve existing methodologies, contributing to the overall success of Apple's product development efforts.
