Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically in Design for Test (DFT) methodologies. Your attention to detail is exceptional, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can contribute to complex design projects. You understand the intricacies of DFT solutions and are passionate about ensuring the quality and functionality of semiconductor designs.
Your experience includes developing and implementing DFT architecture, as well as working closely with design verification teams to verify DFT implementations. You are adept at generating structural test vectors and analyzing coverage, ensuring that all aspects of the design meet rigorous testing standards. You have a strong background in collaborating with designers on static timing analysis, physical design, and logical issues, which allows you to address challenges effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the complete DFT solution for various design projects. You will develop and implement DFT architecture that meets the high standards expected at Apple. Your collaboration with the design verification team will be crucial as you work to verify DFT implementations and implement engineering change orders (ECOs). You will generate structural test vectors and analyze coverage to ensure comprehensive testing of the designs.
You will also work closely with test engineers to bring up test vectors on silicon, ensuring that the designs function as intended in real-world applications. Your role will involve running schedules and supporting multi-functional engineering efforts, making you a key player in the semiconductor design process. Your contributions will have a significant impact on the functionality and reliability of Appleβs products, enabling millions of customers to enjoy seamless experiences with their devices.
