You have a strong background in design for test (DFT) verification, with experience in reviewing architecture and design specifications. You enjoy collaborating with designers to verify DFT implementation and have a knack for developing verification plans that ensure high-quality outcomes. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle challenges that others may find daunting, and you thrive in a team environment where innovation is encouraged.
You are familiar with implementing test benches and generating constrained random tests, and you have experience debugging failures and running gate-level simulations. Your attention to detail helps you supervise bugs and close coverage effectively, ensuring that all aspects of the design are thoroughly tested. You are comfortable handling schedules and supporting multi-functional engineering efforts, demonstrating your ability to manage multiple priorities.
What you'll do
As a SoC DFT DV Engineer at Apple, you will play a crucial role in the development of cutting-edge hardware products. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing architecture and design specifications to extract design features and develop attributes and verification plans. You will work closely with designers to verify DFT implementation and run various checks to ensure compliance with specifications.
You will implement test benches and generate advised/constrained random tests to validate the functionality of designs.
