Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience in semiconductor design, specifically in DFT solutions. You possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for crafting sophisticated solutions to complex challenges. Your experience spans all aspects of semiconductor design, and you are comfortable collaborating with various engineering teams to ensure successful product outcomes.
You understand the importance of DFT architecture and infrastructure, and you have a proven track record of working with design verification teams to verify DFT implementations. Your analytical skills allow you to generate structural test vectors and improve coverage effectively. You are adept at addressing physical, power, and logical issues in collaboration with designers, ensuring that all aspects of the design meet the required specifications.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing DFT architecture for Appleβs next-generation processors. You will work closely with the design verification team to verify DFT implementations and implement engineering change orders (ECOs) as needed. Your responsibilities will include generating structural test vectors and analyzing coverage to ensure that all designs meet the necessary testing standards.
You will collaborate with designers on static timing analysis (STA), physical design, and power management issues, ensuring that all aspects of the design are optimized for performance and efficiency. Additionally, you will work with test engineers to bring up test vectors on silicon, supporting multi-functional engineering efforts and running schedules to meet project deadlines.
