Who you are

You have a minimum of a BS degree and over 10 years of relevant industry experience, showcasing your deep understanding of CPU physical electrical analysis. Your expertise in PNR design implementation and static timing analysis (STA) sets you apart in the field. You possess a strong knowledge of computer architecture and RISC pipelines, which allows you to navigate complex design challenges effectively. Your experience working with CAD/EDA vendors demonstrates your ability to ensure the fidelity of analysis results, and your collaborative nature enables you to work seamlessly with methodology and implementation teams. You are committed to delivering high-quality results and meeting project deadlines, making you a valuable asset to any team.

Desirable

While not required, familiarity with data analytics packages would be a plus, enhancing your ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets. Your proactive approach to problem-solving and your ability to create custom solutions in a PNR tool environment will further contribute to your success in this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior CPU Physical Electrical Analysis Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for driving the block and top-level design of power-grid systems. Your role will involve conducting electrical verification closure for EMIR and ensuring that all designs meet the required specifications. You will work closely with multi-functional teams, including CAD/EDA vendors and SoC level teams, to ensure that the design and implementation processes are aligned with project goals. Your expertise will be crucial in constructing and implementing power grid designs using existing infrastructures, and you will be expected to create custom solutions when necessary. You will also play a key role in driving design and sign-off closure, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
