Job Description

Who you are

You have a minimum of a BS degree and over 10 years of relevant industry experience, showcasing your deep understanding of CPU physical electrical analysis. Your expertise in PNR design implementation and static timing analysis (STA) is complemented by your knowledge of computer architecture and RISC pipelines. You thrive in collaborative environments, working multi-functionally with CAD/EDA vendors and methodology teams to ensure the fidelity of analysis results. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to drive design and sign-off closure effectively.

You are adept at power grid design, construction, and implementation, utilizing existing infrastructures while also creating custom solutions in a PNR tool environment. Your experience in the EMIR/SIGEM/Reliability space equips you with the ability to tackle complex challenges in high-performance computing. You are committed to delivering quality results and meeting IP delivery schedules, demonstrating your strong project management skills.

Desirable

While not required, familiarity with data analytics packages would be a significant advantage in this role. Your ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly will help you excel in this position, as you will be working with cutting-edge tools and methodologies.

What you'll do

As a Senior CPU Physical Electrical Analysis Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for driving the block and top-level design of power-grid and analysis of high-performance compute blocks. You will lead the EMIR/electrical verification closure process, ensuring that all designs meet the required specifications and standards.
