Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience. Your background includes a strong understanding of electrical engineering circuit design fundamentals, both analog and digital. You are skilled in circuit simulation and layout optimization, and you have experience in display panel architecture and design. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by your ability to conduct failure mode analysis and root cause investigations for mass production display development.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams including display panel process, optics, touch designers, silicon designers, and mechanical engineering. Your experience includes collaborating with external vendors for display manufacturing, and you are open to international business travel to support project implementation. You are passionate about exploring new transistor technologies and validating their applications in display circuits.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and developing display circuits, including pixels and driving circuits, for mass production. You will lead the design and layout of display panels, ensuring optimal performance and integration with other components in Apple products. Your work will involve circuit simulation and modeling, as well as characterization and validation of display pixels and panels. You will conduct thorough failure mode analysis and engage in root cause investigations to resolve issues that arise during the development process.

You will collaborate with various teams to define the architecture and scope of display panel projects, ensuring that all designs meet the high standards expected in Apple products. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest advancements in display technology and apply this knowledge to enhance the performance of Apple’s display offerings. You will also be involved in the validation of new technologies, contributing to the continuous improvement of display panel designs.
