Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and over 10 years of relevant industry experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of transistor device characteristics and ESD circuit design techniques. Your expertise includes solid knowledge of models used for testing ESD, such as HBM, CDM, MM, and IEC-61000-4-2. You are skilled in using design/layout EDA tools, including Virtuoso, Calibre, and Allegro, and have hands-on experience with ESD checking tools. You thrive in cross-functional teams and enjoy tackling challenges that require innovative solutions.
What you'll do
In this role, you will ensure that silicon is designed to meet Apple's ESD specifications and manufacturing requirements. You will work closely with diverse teams within Apple and external vendors to deliver high-quality on-chip IPs that are immune to ESD/EOS and latchup events. Your responsibilities will include ensuring ESD robust designs with minimum cost to mission-mode functions, and you may be required to travel occasionally to collaborate with partners.
