Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and over 10 years of relevant industry experience, with a deep understanding of transistor device characteristics and ESD circuit design techniques. Your expertise includes hands-on experience with design/layout EDA tools such as Virtuoso, Calibre, and Allegro, which you have used to ensure high-quality on-chip IPs immune to ESD/EOS and latchup events.

You possess a solid understanding of models used for testing ESD, including HBM, CDM, MM, and IEC-61000-4-2. Your knowledge extends to state-of-the-art ESD circuit design techniques and topologies, allowing you to deliver designs that meet Apple's stringent ESD specifications and manufacturing requirements.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work in a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality on-chip IPs that are immune to ESD and latchup events. You will take ownership of the ESD and Latch-Up requirements for all ICs developed by and for Apple, ensuring that the silicon is designed to meet Apple's ESD specifications. You will collaborate closely with diverse teams within Apple and external vendors, tackling challenges that require innovative solutions.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring ESD robust designs with minimum cost to mission-mode functions. You will also be involved in debugging activities and may require occasional travel to meet with vendors or other teams. Your contributions will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of quality, innovation, and efficiency that Apple is known for.
