Who you are

You have a strong background in embedded firmware development, particularly using C and assembly languages. With at least 3 years of relevant industry experience, you are familiar with ARM CPUs and their internals, and you understand low-level hardware interfaces, register and interrupt programming, and bare-metal software development. Your expertise in energy-efficient design and wireless technologies positions you well to contribute to Apple's innovative projects.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of firmware for manufacturability. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders allows you to bridge gaps and drive projects forward. You are detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality solutions that enhance user experiences.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be at the center of a silicon design group, crafting and implementing embedded firmware for System on a Chip (SoC) bring-up and wireless connectivity enablement. You will collaborate closely with software engineering teams, ensuring that the firmware meets the highest standards of quality and performance. Your responsibilities will include driver implementation, developing protocol stacks, and supporting various teams interacting within the Wireless SoC group.

You will play a critical role in the design and validation of wireless silicon, contributing to the development of products that reach hundreds of millions of customers. Your work will involve hands-on tasks related to hardware and system bring-up, where you will apply your technical skills to solve complex challenges. You will also be involved in testing and validation processes, ensuring that the firmware integrates seamlessly with hardware components.
