Who you are
You have over 10 years of experience in embedded firmware development, particularly in the context of wireless systems. Your strong background in C and assembly languages allows you to craft efficient and reliable firmware solutions. You are familiar with ARM CPUs and their internals, enabling you to work effectively on low-level hardware interfaces and register programming.
Your expertise extends to bare-metal software development, where you have successfully implemented drivers and protocol stacks for various wireless technologies. You understand the intricacies of hardware and system bring-up, ensuring that the firmware you develop meets the highest standards of quality and manufacturability.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of firmware with hardware components. Your problem-solving skills and attention to detail make you a valuable asset in any engineering team.
Desirable

What you'll do
In this role, you will be at the forefront of Apple's Wireless Connectivity Silicon team, responsible for developing embedded firmware for System on a Chip (SoC) designs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the firmware you create enables robust wireless connectivity in Apple products.
Your responsibilities will include crafting and implementing firmware for SoC bring-up, as well as developing and optimizing drivers for various hardware components. You will also be involved in the development of protocol stacks that facilitate communication between different parts of the wireless SoC.
You will play a critical role in the design and validation of firmware, ensuring that it meets performance and reliability standards. Your work will directly impact the user experience, as you help deliver functional wireless products to millions of customers.
